I love your work man! One suggestion though. You should look into compressing your drums. They are way too loud and drown out a lot of other beautiful aspects to the work. When you compress, you will not loose any of the power to the percussion at all (Which is obviously what you are going for). It will just give the rest of the song to do some talking too!

This is really cool. I really really really want to hear it without the drums. Unfortunately, the drums really bother me. I think you need to go back, choose new samples (like crisper and more electronic sounding) and completely redo the drums. The percussion in a song usually is meant to tie everything else together while at the same time, directly relating to every single other element. The drums here do not relate to the rest of the song at all really. I would almost say get rid of the drums all together maybe. Just a suggestion.

It's strange to hear that, because the drums were really the skeleton of the track when I recorded it- I recorded the piano parts, then the drums, then I tried to mold everything else around those. So to me it seems like the drums fit, and even when I listen to it trying to hear a problem in them, they still seem like they fit to me. So I really don't think I'd redo the drums anytime soon, but it's interesting to know someone has a huge problem with them. In the future, I'll try to improve, obviously.

Ok. let me first start off by saying I am completely and utterly bias.
Let me also say that I hate trance.
The Reason: Trance is a boring genre. Same sounds, Same formula, same 3 hour snare rolls, and almost NO evolution as a whole genre and art form (if you want to call it that).
I feel like I am listening to country music and I want to bang my head against a brick wall...
On the positive side of things, I want to say that you, sir, are a pretty damn good producer. If the song was not this trance dance garbage, then I would give you a 10/10 and a 5/5 because of the awesome technical skills that you have and that I envy.
In Conclusion: You are an amazing producer and have a lot of talent. But have you ever considered trying to do something a little bit more original? Ok Ok Ok. Let me clear that up a bit by saying: Doing something original that will progress the genre forward rather than doing something that sounds exactly like Tiesto.
Sorry I have to be bogus but I have to express my displeasure with the song and where it lies in the ranks. I will probably catch some heat for this but whatever.
